The most important skill a landscape photographer can have is patience. The beautiful "rose" shape clouds started to form just as the sun set, but the colorful rose did not fully form for another hour.
We tend to be a little stubborn, this has served us well as photographers. We had been repeated told by a group of photographers that the morning light would be poor. If this is poor, I want to be there when it is good!
